Storm Wardens Mini-Drawing: Week One!

Dear readers,

First and foremost, the initial responses to the Storm Wardens Army Project have been very positive indeed! Remember, we still need to finish building and painting the army itself but all of us have started working like crazy on it! To keep the enthusiasm for this project going as we move forward we are going to start offering small tokens of appreciation along the way. We have had many sponsors offer goods and services to the cause, and thanks to them, we are able to put together some great gamer loot in the process for you.

The fine folks over at the Minions of the Monster Master are sponsoring our first prize, a Storm Wardens t-shirt (shown above) featuring the artwork you see on the main contest banner designed by one of their hosts. The Minions run a not-so serious podcast about gaming culture and its related games. They cover RPGs, historical, fantasy and science fiction miniature wargaming, board games, and more. Episodes include actual play, interviews, product reviews, and the like. Check them out!

We will hold the first Give Away this Sunday, June 6th at 7pm, pst!

The winner chosen this Sunday to pick up the t-shirt will come from those of you who have already made a contribution the Storm Wardens Project. You can jump on board right up until the drawing's deadline this Sunday evening.

Readers who pick up free gamer loot during these interval moments of fanfare along the way are STILL eligible for the big enchilada in the end, the fully painted Storm Wardens Army! Remember, while we are all having fun getting into this project and giving away cool stuff, the bottom line isn't the prizes or even the 2000+ point army, it's that as a gaming community we are helping Doctors Without Borders, a worthy cause indeed.
