I agree with Sholto, that's my typical way of finding long lost items ... well after I chanted about 50 Mantras to calm back down that is :) But you can be lucky it's only a rather small tray of WH stuff. I once dropped a whole box of boardgame counters (approx 2000 pieces, very well sorted) at the top of my staircase, just as I packed for a tournament ... Well I ended up using a broom, sweeping it all together in the basement, and this was the first tourney I went to without counters :)
lucky it was a laminated floor! so you can sweep it, if it'd been carpeted you wouldnt have had such an easy job to get it all back in... Say, you dont have any spare Rhino headlights in there do you?
Haha, ok here is what happened to me some years ago: I managed to finish two units of skeleton warriors only had to glue the shields on. They where standing on my painting station besides my bed. So there was this one night, I was out drinking 'some' beers - actually one to much - and came home an guess what happened... I stumbled into my two units and broke them all! Apart from the spears sticking in my foot the mental pain was so hard I did stop playing Vampires/Undead this day!...
Mike you are worse than me, at least I don't save broken in half slotta bases and the 4 prong plastic bit that connects 4 slotta bases together. I did open the image to try and see if you had any bits in there I needed.
That's just about my reaction - I tend to spice it up with a few choice curses...
ReplyDeleteHaha, you can but laugh in the end though!
ReplyDeleteUsually it is moments like those when I find myself saying, "Hey! There's that missile pod I was looking for!" :)
ReplyDeleteIt is times like this that put me on a 3 month hiatus as I try and get back into the hobby.

That sucks. I hope it was just a box of bitz.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you're going on about. I have 4 kids - that's just a normal Saturday afternoon...

You should be grateful man, every time I knock over one of my bitz containers, it usually takes a day to collect it all.
