Free Warhammer !, Super Blog Chain Give Away: The Return!

If you love something set it free, if it comes back to you it was meant to be.
I think some girl said this to me while dumping me in High School

The Blog Chain Give Away has returned to SCW. Apparently, it was meant to be, or I just offered up some cool stuff to get some Forge World Death Guard bits from Magiler.

To keep the Blog Chain Give Away rolling, I have offered the next host the choice of ONE of the following;

Unopened Chimera box

Unopened Catachan old box set same models but a generous 20 instead of the weedy current 10.

Metal Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought with extra blood claw conversion bits. Simple Green stripped model with some extra resin blood fists and gaunt Nid arms to make the claws.

Rules.
1. you must have a blog.
2. you must have something worthwhile to offer up to give away for free.
3. if you win, you must hold your own blogsite give away using the same rules to pay it forward.
4. you must contact us with a link to your give away so we can send bloggers to your site.

To enter.
leave a comment to this post as follows:

1st sentence, why you need the prize.
2nd sentence, what you will give away on your blog to pay it forward.

I will choose the winner based on how convincing they are and what they offer to the next winner.

The winner will be announced This friday night Aug. 27th 8pm PST before the Barter Bucket post on Saturday.

So, who wants to be a winner?

John

I have a nice Deathwing LRC to pay forward.

I also have some Grey Knights, Dark Angels and an unopened box of Sang. Nipple Guard.

  4. I have a box set of Screaming Eagles 28mm from Warloard games, and a german MG42 team. Perfect for conversions or recreating Band of Brothers! This set comes with 21 Americans, 3 Germans!

The second thing I would give away is a woodland scenics starter kit eighteen white metal tree armatures, three packages of Foliage, seven tree stumps, two packages of Green Blend Blended Turf and three packages of accent colors of Fine Turf.

The winner of my draw would get both :D You get enouph stuff to make a small table surface, and the figures to fight on it!

For my prize? I would love the Fursuro Dread. It would make a great addition to my blood angels army I am working on!

  5. Apologies for the earlier comment, I didnt read the main post properly. I think this is a great idea, as with any community building incentive.

I'd pass on 10 metal Dark Elf knights (2 of which are lords) mounted on Cold Ones - theyre decent models, I prefer them to the old school ones. A second option would be 20 Bauhaus Milita from Warzone - I have 2 squads surplus from my guard army, which brings me on nicely to which item looks best out of that little lot!

My army is split into two parts, A british infantry-type section, the inspiration for which was found little over a year ago right here at Santa Cruz with your Ardwick guardsmen. Therefore my foot slogging guard are british trenchers. The mechanised part of the army is based on WW2 Germans, and currently consists of 2 Halftracks (Chimeras) containing a squad of Veterans each (Bauhaus soldiers). As part of the armoured element I have a squad of old school stormtroopers in berets, and a Lord Commisar also from the Warzone range, in a WW1 Picklehaube and gas mask with greatcoat. I'm intending to get a chimera for the stormtroopers and commisar as it is, to reflect the higher ups in the army having access to Imperial technology, not just Sculfleet produts. Therefore my choice would have to be the chimera! *phew*

Again, apologies for the earlier, misinformed post.

  6. ok, the winner has been chosen , but I didn't get the post up before the bucket post, as I went out with the girl to a concert last night.

I will post the winner announcement Sunday to give the bucket posters some time for people to check it out.

Stay tuned, as it will have a bit of a surprise.

  7. I noticed that the link to the giveaway is gone. Does this mean this idea has officially died the death?

That would be a sad day.
